Jim was born and raised in Chattanooga. Jim's career started in 1993 with Church Mutual. After ten years of insuring churches across thirteen counties in southeast Tennessee with a leading insurer, Jim launched River City Insurance in 2003. River City Insurance started humbly out of Jim’s family home and has since grown into a full-service agency with more than 1,500 clients.
